Our Investment Focus
We invest
We are sector agnostic other than, companies seeking our investment must qualify for EIS. Outlined below is our summary of the stages we like to invest at. We typically invest in companies at Late Stage 1 and Stage 2—and there’s a reason we’ve chosen this. We’ve been founders ourselves.
We know what it feels like to validate an idea, build something people actually want, and then face the challenge of scaling it. That’s where we see the biggest opportunity, and where we can be most helpful.
Late Stage 1: You’ve Proven It Works
You’ve built something real. Your customers love you, you’re generating revenue, and you’ve figured out the basics of how to acquire them profitably. But you’re constrained…… by capital, by bandwidth, by how fast you can move. You’re at the inflection point where smart capital and strategic support can make all the difference.
This is where we come in.
Stage 2: The Acceleration Phase
You’ve moved past survival mode. Your team is stronger, your processes are tighter, and you know what works. Now it’s about stepping on the gas—hiring faster, expanding to new markets, doubling down on what’s working. You’re not figuring out if your business works anymore; you’re figuring out how big it can get.
We’ve been here. We know the problems you’re solving.
Why This Stage?
We Remember This Phase
Late Stage 1 and Stage 2 can be messy, exciting and terrifying all in equal measure, and we understand it viscerally. We’re not investors who learned about business from spreadsheets -we’ve lived it.
Perhaps You Need More Than Money?
Capital matters, but what you really need is someone who’s been in the trenches, who can introduce you to the right people, who can help you make decisions when the stakes feel impossibly high. We’ve been there……
Real Metrics, Real Clarity
Unlike earlier stages where everything is a bet, your company now has real numbers. We can see what’s actually working. That clarity means we can be thoughtful partners, not just hopeful backers.
We Want to Be Involved
We may ask to take a board seat(s) at this stage because we care about outcomes. We’re not passive investors checking in quarterly. If you feel we can offer more than capital, we can become actively engaged in helping you navigate the challenges ahead.
You’re Close to Something Big
Companies at Stage 2 often exit within 3-5 years. That means meaningful returns for everyone, and more importantly, the chance to build something lasting.
How we work
We’re not here to tell you how to run your business. You know more about your market than we ever will. But we’ve built companies, scaled teams, navigated market transitions, and made plenty of mistakes along the way. We share what we’ve learned, we make introductions that matter.
Think of us as co-builders, not just capital providers.
What we don’t like – Brokered transactions. We much prefer founders to reach out directly to us.
We will consider non EIS investments but only as part of an IPO or secondary funding rounds.
